He was born in 1976 in Germany. After completing his primary school at Istanbul Private Kalamış Primary School, he completed his secondary and high school education at Istanbul Private German High School. In 1994, he received a one-year high school education at Pingry High School in New Jersey, USA, under AFS international student exchange program.

He started his doctorate studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics in 2000. In 2007, after completing his doctoral thesis titled ‘ Examination  of different Ni-Ti rotary instrument systems on curved roots in case of need to repeat the root canal treatment ‘, she earned the title of Dr. Med. Dent.

He served  as a lecturer at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry between 2009-2018.
